Facilities at HSU
Hollywood State University boasts state-of-the-art facilities designed to provide students with hands-on experience and access to industry-standard equipment. Roddenberry Center for Advanced Media Technologies: The center includes a motion capture stage, 4K and 8K digital cinema production studios, virtual production lab with LED wall technology and high-performance rendering farm for animation and VFX.
Kubrick-Bergman Screening Rooms: The screening rooms feature three state-of-the-art theaters (seating 200, 100, and 50), 4K digital projection and Dolby Atmos sound systems and a f ilm archive with rare prints and digital restoration capabilities.
Spielberg Digital Arts Labs: The labs feature VR/AR development suites, 3D modeling and animation workstations and sound design and mixing studios.
Scorsese Film and Media Library: The library contains an extensive collection of books, periodicals, and digital resources, a film & TV series archive and an oral history collection featuring industry legends
Film and Television Studios: HSU houses multiple soundstages, equipped with professional-grade cameras, lighting, and sound equipment. These studios are designed to accommodate a variety of productions, from small student projects to larger-scale films and television shows.

Post-Production Labs: The university provides students with access to cutting-edge post-production facilities, including editing suites, color grading rooms, and sound mixing studios. These labs are equipped with the latest software and hardware used in the industry, such as Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Pro Tools.

Animation and Visual Effects Labs: HSU's animation and VFX labs feature high-performance workstations, specialized software, and motion capture technology. Students have access to industry-standard tools like Autodesk Maya, Houdini, and Nuke, allowing them to create stunning visual effects and animations.

Performance Theaters: The Acting and Performance School benefits from multiple theater spaces, including a main stage, black box theater, and rehearsal rooms.
